Ppl seem to be blogging less nowadays, or maybe it's just the friends whose blog mine is linked to . haha...figured that everyone is prob too busy at work to slack and blog :P
It's CNY first day. I didn't go visiting this year bec my grandpa passed away last yr and well, according to tradition, we're not supposed to. Not that I would have enjoyed visiting. The dressing up ..definitely..but the crowd I"m trying to please? Let's not waste my time...:P
I myself have been real busy lately. But I'm sure that's a good sign ya? Sadly, the money ain't rolling in as much as I would like it to! haha...
Was having steamboat with my college friends the other night at Marina South. Got my white top all splattered with the bbq sauce haha..yeah, dun ask me why I wore white...forgot!!!! So in the end had to borrow Chel's jacket to shield like an apron. haha, quite a sight really. And I forgot about the live jumping prawns! Iman was brave enough to handle the prawns, using his BARE hands to scope the prawns by their tails and dumping them into the hot water.
Remind me never to go there to eat live prawns again.
Kinda eeecky to have to watch them die...and cruel nonetheless. There is a reason why I cannot cook live food in the kitchen, bec I won't dare to eat them after they are cooked.
Believe me when I say I was shrieking when the prawns as much as moved a 'feeler'. haha...quite embarassing, but I guess everyone else was too engrossed in cooking their own food to notice us. Haha...there were a LOT of ppl there on a Wed night!
Later on Darren joined us, and there wasn't much food left bec he came at 10pm. haha..talk about working late. Poor thing...so we played ard a bit with the left over food, and I borrowed his tie to accessorise my white singlet top. Pretty cool really.. I might wear that style out one day :P Need to get the tie first hahaa
Hong Kong Cafe at East Coast was next. Apparantly a 24 hr cafe, there were plenty of ppl sitting ard enjoying very expensive cups of drinks haha...we decided to be charitable as well and ordered a drink each, while Darren ordered some noodle thingy. Kwang sat there playing some game on Iman's phone and the rest of us chatted, with Chel and Iman engaging in some sort of engineering/technology/I-dunno-what-the-hell-you-are-talking-about conversation, which Darren and I gladly stayed out of :P
In all, we had a good catch up, touching on topics ranging from salary, to investment, to work, to our trip abroad toge, and what-are-the-rest-of-our-classmates-doing talk :P I always love meeting them up, and they are prob the bestest frens I have :P
Anyhow, I spent the whole of today resting at home and reading magazines which I bought last yr and haven't had time to read. Was doing some reflection as well; it's good when I have the time. To just sit there and do nothing since I'm ALWAYS doing something. Even when I wanna sleep....shucks huh!
Also managed to sort out my many songs in my comp, which I managed to rip from CDs *oops, hope it's ok to say this* haha...and am now happily listening to them :P
